Happy 4th Month Birthday to Rel Eerkes
Today, Ernie was on Bainbridge Island, visiting his granddaughter Rel, and her dad (Les), mom (Tera) and Tera's parents (Carl and Hanna). They had a fantastic time just watching Rel kick her legs, smile, sleep, cry and suck on her fingers. Babies are so entertaining!
And just in case this picture doesn't get close in enough for you, here is a recent photo shoot where Rel was flashing her fabulous gummy grin!

I love the picture! Of course I am biased. Had a good time today. We went out for dinner and by the time I arrived at the ferry there was no wait. I'll be thinking of you two tomorrow. Hope the wind isn't too bad.

Jan: The picture of the cars is pretty scary, but the picture of Rel is adorable and as ever, so is Grampa Ernie. Let's all hope that the weather turns in your favor for the rest of the trip. I can't believe you're in Iowa already!! We are so proud of you both!!! What strong women you are!!

Happy Birthday! It looks like you are doing 62 miles today. Hope the weather and winds are favorable.
The picture of little Rel and the family was so cute. Ernie must have enjoyed that special visit. It was good to see Carl and Hannah in the photo. That photo of the cars was something else. So glad you missed that.
