Little Falls, Minnesota
We have a day off...we have only two more days of riding and Pat and I are already
starting to celebrate. Today we both had pedicures. The first for Pat. It has been a very relaxing and much needed rest day. Michael, aren't you happy that I have been able to influence Pat just a little bit?
Tonight Mary and Don Anderson came to see me. We went to dinner at the Black
and White which is a really great restaurant in town. It was wonderful to be with them both. Don is such a great story teller that both Mary and I were entertained. Mary is riding with me tomorrow. Part of the day will be spent riding the Paul Bunyan trail.

Hi Jan & Pat,
Those pedicures must have felt so good. You both look so tan. It must be a wonderful feeling knowing you are on the last leg of your journey. I hope the weather and winds are favorable.

Hi Jan and Pat,
I never thought that you would ever enjoy a pedicure, Pat. I am glad that your sister is introducing you to some badly needed respite techniques. I hope you chose a bright happy color! The photo of you both enjoying a "quite" moment is wonderful.
It is now thunder storming at our homes, so hopefully you are having sunny weather where you are located.
Take good care of your feet. Like my Great Great Grandmother use to say "take good care of your feet and teeth, because without them your health is not good." Have FUN!
Love, Mary
Jan,
You are introducing Pat to "high maintenance". The picture of your pedicure is great. Take care and see you soon.
